SHANNAN KING
Shannan has developed not only a deep passion for fitness, but a drive to motivate and inspire her clients. She is certified through AFPA as a personal trainer. Over the past eight years Shannan has developed a training style that impels her clients to find their strengths and strive for improvements. Shannan graduated with a BS in Psychology from the University of San Francisco and then began personal training in 2001. She also completed her MS in Exercise Physiology (Cal Poly Pomona), combining her background in psychology with fitness. For Shannan each client brings a new set of challenges for which she provides individualized programs. She specializes in correcting and strengthening postural imbalances as well as functional training. Through her graduate work Shannan has done extensive research on neck and shoulder pain due to poor posture and she excels at providing corrective exercises and alleviating discomfort. "Every day is an opportunity to share something new and educational."

Shannan is a certified pilates teacher through the Long Beach Dance Conditioning Center, Long Beach, Ca. "I enjoy being able to offer another form of exercise for those who enjoy cross-training and for those in need of flexibility and injury rehabilitation."
